2013 is a year of really new beginnings. Earth had declare her independence: The Mayan calendar is finish, geographically is much changes happening and people are en front of repositioning them self.

This retreat will involve the regeneration and healing of your cellular body. We will be using professional ayurvedic doctors, competitive practitioners and an amazing setting enfront of the beach in Kannur to facilitate this profound healing.

Matthew and I will be supporting your energy and internal transformation. We are including in the program 2 weeks of daily classes. Meditation, Yoga, mindful process and relaxation are in the agenda. Dr. Rajesh will expand our ayurveda knowledge with workshops.

We are also considering that Feb is the shamanic month in Kannur. Many temples prepare all year for amazing ceremonies that last from 4 to 10 days. The air is charge of sacredness and induce deep contemplation. You will have time to visit optional sites around Kannur or just to stay in Kannur and go deeper into your panchakarma treatments. You can choose from 7, 14 or 21 days of treatments.

You may also consider training yourself in Children Yoga. Club yoga is bringing the teachings to India and you can practice and participate in this inspiring training. This training is separate from our teaching.

"My time in India was unforgettable. The combination of lavish treatments, profoundly empowering teachings and beautiful surroundings provided the space that I needed for deep healing, contemplation and rejuvenation. I cannot describe the effect of two weeks of daily shirodhara and massage, but I know that I returned home with greater physical strength and resilience to my busy work environment. If you are considering this trip, for next year, I would highly, highly recommend it. Thank you so much!" Rachel.

"Being in Kannur for almost three weeks by the beautiful, fresh sea was a unforgettable experience.  It included Ayurvedic massage, swimming, Satvic meals, a silent retreat, meeting new friends from all over the world and much more.  It is impossible to put this experience in words.  The combination of all of the above was very regenerating for my health and opened a space for me to be more alive and present to my life.  Over the last few months I have noticed a gradual improvement in my health as well as being more peaceful, relaxed and content with my life. India has taught me to smile and relax more and at the same time be self-responsible. " Anamda

The birth rigth of ascension.

In Machupichu 2010
There is one birthright that resides in our second chakra: the right to reclaim our ability to transmute ourselves into a peak of maturity. It is a process of alchemy, transfiguration and full flourishment of the human potential. The right is the right of ascension.
This right has been lost throughout the history of human frequency. We used to have a frequency, so subtle and refined, that we were able to move through a natural evolution of ascension. By adopting judgment and by abandoning self-responsibility our habits pulled down into the gravity of Earth, giving us only the sense of ego and individual self.

Documents to travel to Peru

You need your updated passport. If you are a Canadian citizen you don’t need a visa. Check with Peru consulate if you are coming from another country.

Meals in Cuzco

While in Cuzco there are plenty of local restaurants with vegetarian options. Most restaurants have a tourist menu for 15 soles (around $6 CDN) with everything included. That is the best deal. You can also find local food such as Alpaca steak, as well as American food.
Depending on where you are staying, breakfast may be included. Downtown Cuzco offers a local market where you can get fruits and snacks from local farmers and artisans.

Currency in Peru

-->
The currency of Peru is the sol or soles. As of mid-July, one Canadian dollar was valued at $2.59 soles. There are plenty of ATM machines in Cuzco and US dollars are easier to exchange than Canadian dollars. If you bring cash, please make sure the bills are new and not ripped as these will not be accepted in most shops and hotels.

Places to Visit near Cuzco

-->
Places to Visit and People to Meet
It’s very difficult not to fall in love with Cuzco. There are plenty of tours, sights to see and helpful people ready to give you a hand or directions. Your local hotel probably has connections with local tourist guides who can help you arrange tours and give you information.
One of those day trips will be to Machu Picchu, a popular destination for many tourists.  You need to reserve your tickect 2 month ahead. The trip to Machu Picchu costs $190 USD per person, which includes a return train ticket, a connecting return bus ticket and entrance to the site.

Where to stay in Cuzco

While in Cuzco, you can choose to stay in traditional low-cost hostels or more deluxe hotels. Here two suggestions:
Start by reserving four nights in Cuzco, from October 10-13. That will give us time to acclimatize to the altitude and to do a few day trips. After our days in Cuzco, we’ll start our journey. Accommodations will be determined as we go.

Other places near Cuzco you can stay.

Air tickets and how to get to Cuzco

Your first step is to reserve a flight to Lima, the capital of Peru. Most flights arrive in Lima late in the evening. There are no flights to Cuzco at night, so you need to book an early flight to Cuzco the day after your arrival in Lima. The earliest flight is at six a.m. Be prepared, therefore, to spend the night at the airport in Lima or to rent a room in a nearby hotel.
You need to book a return trip from Lima to Cuzco. The flight between Lima and Cuzco is approximately an hour-and-a-half long, so consider that when you book your international flight home. The Lima airport is quite modern and has many amenities, however you need to arrive at the airport three hours before your international flight departs.
